Are you tired of your old, dated bathroom that is not only unattractive, but also underutilized? This client was. And I quote “the 80’s want their bathroom back.” So, a classic bathroom remodel was just what they needed to transform this space into a modern, functional oasis. Let’s explore this recent bathroom remodel project that transformed a drab, outdated bathroom into a stunning, spa-like retreat.

The original bathroom in this home was small, cramped, and lacking in both style and function. The homeowners wanted to create a space that was not only beautiful, but also made the most of every inch available. The first step in the remodel was to tear out the old flooring, stained fiberglass tub and shower surround, vanity, fixtures, and start fresh.

The new bathroom design was focused on creating a spa-like experience, with a walk-in shower, soaking tub, and custom vanity.

The shower was the centerpiece of the design, with a custom glass enclosure that added a touch of elegance to the space. The shower also featured a corner bench, beautiful penny-tile floor, and shampoo niche, making it both practical and luxurious.

The deep alcove soaking tub was another key element of the remodel, providing the homeowner with a place to relax and unwind after a long day. Although the tub was in the same location as the original layout, a deeper tub was selected for maximum soaking and relaxation. With a custom shampoo niche, there is plenty of room for bubble bath essentials like bath bombs, candles, and a glass of wine.

The custom vanity was designed to provide ample storage space, with six drawers and two pull-out shelves under the sink. The drawers were deep enough to accommodate towels and other bathroom essentials, while the pull-out shelves provided easy access to everyday items.
