HI, I’M SHELBY
DESIGNER, CONTRACTOR, AND YOUR REMODELING ADVOCATE.
I like to joke that I started my business because I’d had enough bosses named “Mark” and figured I could handle working for a boss named “Shelby.”
But the real reason? I wanted more than just a job—I wanted a career that let me build relationships, spark creativity, and help families love their homes again. With a background in interior design and a childhood spent on construction sites (thanks to my dad, a longtime general contractor), remodeling isn’t just my career—it’s in my DNA.
FROM PICKING OUT PLUMBING FIXTURES TO MANAGING FULL-SCALE RENOVATIONS,
I’ve worked in nearly every corner of the design world. But I kept coming back to what I love most:
Working directly with homeowners to transform their spaces in a way that feels seamless, exciting, and stress-free. Because here’s the thing—I believe your home should work for you. A well-designed space isn’t just pretty pictures; it’s about creating a home that makes your daily life easier, more enjoyable, and more you.
EVERY FAMILY IS DIFFERENT
YOUR HOME SHOULD REFLECT you.
That’s why I don’t push a signature style
Whether you’re looking for a modern kitchen refresh, a classic and cozy basement retreat, or an aging-in-place bathroom design, I’ll help you bring it to life in a way that feels both personal and practical.
Most importantly? This process should feel smooth, enjoyable, and tailored just for you. Because when you work with someone who genuinely cares—about your home
THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE DETAILS
Remodeling is more than just picking out beautiful finishes—it’s about creating a space that truly works for your life.
And that takes more than just good design. It takes a trusted partner who listens, guides, and keeps everything on track from start to finish. At Larson Interiors, I bring together design expertise, construction know-how, and seamless project management so you don’t have to juggle multiple professionals or second-guess every decision. I believe a well-run project starts with clear communication (I’ll always keep you in the loop), smart organization (timelines and budgets matter!), and a team of reliable, skilled tradespeople who care about your home as much as you do.
MY PATH TO STARTING LARSON INTERIORS WASN’T A STRAIGHT LINE
It was more like a winding road filled with lessons.
I learned something valuable at every stop, but none of those roles fully sparked my creativity or passion for construction.
I didn’t just grow up around remodeling—I grew up in it. If I wasn’t on a softball field, I was on a construction site, watching my dad bring homes to life. Somewhere between dodging power tools, learning what it takes to make a space work, and late-night design ideas, I realized my passion for transforming spaces wasn’t just a childhood memory—it was my calling.
