Meet Minnesota Interior Designer, Shelby

It’s Nice to Meet You!

Hi, I’m Shelby! I’m a dog mom to Huckleberry and Blueberry and a life partner to Max. I recently picked up jump roping. I love reality TV (Sister Wives is a guilty pleasure). Like a true Minnesotan, I’m not a fan of the cold winter season, but I can always go for chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I love a good whiskey ginger cocktail, and spending time with my family and friends.

I created Larson Interiors because of my passion for working in residential design and construction, connecting one-on-one with clients, and providing the best service from start to finish. I work with homeowners to help them realize the full potential of their remodeling investments. I’m able to do this by creating functional, yet aesthetically pleasing spaces while listening to the wants and needs of each individual client.

I value transparency, affordability, and creativity throughout the design process. With these values in mind, I strive to achieve a stunning end product you can’t stop raving about. From beginning to end, I provide a no-nonsense approach to guide you through the process for the most successful project possible.

With a bachelor of science degree in Interior Design, 8 years of design and construction experience, and a lifetime of residential construction exposure, I bring a unique perspective to each project. I am an NCIDQ certificate holder and pride myself in staying up to date with design trends, local codes, and industry standards. As a Minnesota-based interior designer, you will receive a knowledgeable, professional, and client-focused experience working with me.

There is no project too small and no style too complicated. I always guarantee a bit of fun along the way! I work with clients of all project sizes, budgets, and aesthetics and am so lucky that I get to be a part of their design and remodeling projects.

I’m often asked how I would describe my own design style and it’s pretty simple: My personal design style is a mix of transitional and traditional. I love the simplicity of transitional design, but I also love the detailed moldings and character that traditional design provides. I love natural materials like travertine and slate, warm wood tones, neutral décor, and simple moldings that add a pinch of charm.

Being a partner in your home improvement and remodeling projects is what I’m passionate about. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with you, now and in the future!

Sincerely,
Shelby
